What Talon Does
Talon for Healthcare is a prescriptive and interactive e-health solution that allows physicians to deliver health education and clinical information to patients securely via email and over the web. Talon´s extensive library of health videos focus on chronic disease management (diabetes, hypertension, asthma) and encouraging healthier lifestyle choices (stress management, nutrition and exercise). Patients can also receive pre– and post–appointment, procedure, medication and discharge instructions where it can most effectively be viewed and retained in their homes and on their own time. Talon is also designed to assess a patient´s level of comprehension and compliance, reinforce learning and to collect data that may be used for evidence-based medical decision making, tracking clinical outcomes and reporting quality measures.
