Intelligent Media
Intelligent Media describes Talon's Physician/Patient relationship using a unique software solution. The Patient Prescriptive Application is a full-featured multimedia system targeted at a patient’s individual needs and/or conditions. Initially the patient is sent an e-mail containing a hyperlink to the application. Upon clicking the hyperlink, the patient is asked to login or register with the system for privacy purposes. After retrieving the patient information the application shows all prescribed media. Media state information is constantly saved so that a user doesn’t have to repeat their actions. Additionally viewing preferences tied to individual pieces of media like volume level, location, etc are remembered. The test state is optional and intended to determine return on investment. The survey state is optional also and could be used to grade the quality of the user’s experience and/or media.
